Improved version of the Type 7 Grevny class destroyer, consisting of 18 ships built between 1940 and 1942. The main distinction being the separation of machinery spaces, denoted by two funnels, to enhance survivability. Five served with the Black Sea Fleet, the remainder in the Baltic. 8 were lost during WWII; the last ship of the class was scrapped in 1966.
